STRENGTH TRAINING
Strength training is a type of physical exercise specializing in the use of resistance to induce muscular contraction, in turn, builds muscle, anaerobic endurance and bone density.
CORE TRAINING
Core Training is simply performing specific exercises to strengthen the muscles of your core. Your core is all of the muscles in your midsection and is one of the most imporant parts of your body to strengthen and grow for athetes of all kind.
BALANCE & STABILITY
Balance in your ability to control your body without movement against gravity. Stability is your ability to control your body during movement.
SPORT SPECIFIC EXERCISES
Depending on your sport, some examples of these are Olympic lifts, jump squats, heavier sled towing and kettlebell swings. The specific strength exercises attempt to provide power improvement in a way that is specific to the athlete.
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
Functional training exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasksyou might do at home, work or in sports. The squat is a great example of this because it trains the muscles to rise up and down from a chair.
AGE APPROPRIATE TRAINING
There are a lot of different excersises we can utilize depending on the age of the athelte. We make sure your child does appropriate excersises for their age to reduce injury.
GROUP TRAINING
We prefer group training over 1-on-1’s for a couple of reasons. You get to work out with a friend and push each other. It’s cheaper for athletes to workout in a group rather than just by themselves.
ALL-SPORT TRAINING
Our staff works with all sports and has experience with athletes at all levels of competition. To book a FREE consultation, click here!
Team Training
We understand that not everyone will be part of the Slammers Program, but if you have a team that would like to train together and get bigger, faster and stronger let us know! We can help with Team Training in our workout area! Team performance training utilizes the benefits of team sport; synergy, cooperation, the understanding of multiple roles, individuality, passion, and leadership to foster growth.
