MINI SLAMMERS TIMELINE
4-7 YEAR OLDS
SLAMMBALL
SlammBall is a fun, fast paced way to LEARN THE GAME of baseball and softball. Kids will learn introductory skills such as throwing, hitting, fielding and baserunning. This will be done with a Slammers Instructor throwing, but will utilize a tee to make sure every kid has a chance to grow. Each session will include 2-30 minutes games with a warm up and a skill building activity.
Slammball sessions will be separated by age/skill level. When registering, parents will identify their child’s experience and basic assessment to be placed in proper groups. We will base our assessment on tools of Throwing, Catching, Hitting, Baserunning, and Baseball IQ. Groups will be classified as follows:
BEGINNER
First timers playing baseball or still learning basic concepts and skills of the game. These players do not have any tools developed and need to develop to move on to next level.
INTERMEDIATE
Players who are somewhat familiar with the game and have basic concepts of the game. Some tools may be evident but need development to play the game successfully.
ADVANCED
Players are familiar with baseball and softball and understand the concepts of the game. These players display the tools while they are competing against other kids.

ALL PLAYERS WANTING TO PLAY XL MAJORS MUST ATTEND THE TRYOUT ON JAN. 13TH FROM 6:30-7:45 @ SLAMMERS NORTH FACILITY! WE WILL NOT *CUT* ANY PLAYER! THIS IS TO GET AN EVALUATION ON SKILL LEVEL!

READY FOR OUR YOUTH SELECT PROGRAM?
The Mini Slammers Program is designed to get your athlete ready for Youth Select Program. The Youth Select Program starts at the age of 8U (but athletes 7U and up can tryout for our program). From there, they will continue their #slammersfamily journey through 14U and our high school program.
